Testimonials

MICHELLE KAKADE Guinness World Records holder in Running

My biggest achievement was to complete the run and create a Guinness World Record without any major injury. This was possible thanks to Dr. Mohsin Khan, Sports Physiotherapist from HEAL Institute. He ensured I get right treatment to recover well every day after running.

NIKHIL SAHANI Walk-in Patient

The best part about Dr. Manasi is her diagnosis. There have been a few times when I had absolutely no idea why the issue was for months, trips to the GP were with no outcome. But Manasi's diagnosis was spot on and has helped me thru with getting the right treatment. Not just on this one occasion but on others as well. Then comes the fact that she is always so eager to help and make sure that you recover from the injuries/ issues and that too always with a smile and lot of motivation!!!

The first Consultation with a Physiotherapists will last for anywhere between 45-50mins. In this duration, our physiotherapists will assess you thoroughly, and then provide you a brief of what is causing the pain/ injury along with a list of do’s and don’ts to start with. The 2nd session onwards would again last for 40-45mins including the treatment and demonstration of exercises to be done at home (if any applicable).

Yes, the pain during the session will be that of the physiotherapist treating your already tight and painful areas. Post the session you may experience muscle soreness which is a common after- effect of Manual Therapy treatments. You will be advised to ice suitably to relieve the soreness and also be instructed the do’s and don’ts after every session.

It’s best to not come in for a physiotherapy session immediately after a heavy meal (e.g. Lunch), because post-meal most of the blood supply of the body is redirected towards the digestive system. If you do the session, the manual therapy will redirect the blood flow towards the treatment area and may leave you uncomfortable or light-headed.

It is ideal for the client/ patient to disrobe as needed for the treatment session, so it is advisable for you to carry a pair of shorts and a vest. Our Physiotherapists will make sure that your session is performed in a closed cubicle maintaining all the necessities following ethics and your complete privacy and confidentiality.

It differs from client to client. Post your first consultation, our physiotherapists will give you a guideline for how you need to plan your sessions. Ideally it is good to have a physiotherapy session 2-3 times a week, with a minimum gap of 24-30 hrs between two sessions for your body to recuperate from the after-effects of the previous session.

Our Physiotherapist’s schedules are planned around pre-booked appointments so it is advisable for you to pre-book your appointments.
